History

The Railroad Heritage Center in Palestine is created and operated by the nonprofit Texas State Railroad Society and celebrates the city's history as a railroad town. It originated near Palestine City Hall around late 2014 and later moved to 808 West Oak Street. Exhibits feature interactive model-train layouts with miniature towns and freight yards, and admission is a nominal fee.
