History

The Musick Alumni Center and Museum at the Parker House sits on the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor campus in Belton at 508 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. The house was built in 1989 as a residence for UMHB president Dr. Bobby E. Parker and is named for him and his wife, Marietta, by donor JoAn Musick-Flowers. A 2009 remodel converted it into the alumni center on the first floor and a museum on the second, where exhibits showcase campus traditions and a recreated 1950s dorm room.
