History
Alamo Methodist Church was built in 1912 at 1150 S. Alamo Street in the Mission (Spanish) Revival style and served a congregation until 1968. After standing vacant, the building was reborn as a theater in 1976 and later housed a basement restaurant, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as one of the area's finest Mission Revival churches.
