History
The Hans and Berthe Reierson House stands in the Norse community of Bosque County, part of the Norwegian settlement that took shape after 1854. The Reierson name echoes Johan Reinert Reierson, an early promoter of Norwegian emigration to Texas whose newsletters helped draw settlers who eventually concentrated around Clifton and Cranfills Gap. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 22, 1983.
