History

Bethlehem Cemetery, also known as Doss Cemetery, is tied to Bethlehem Baptist Church, which was organized in 1870 by the Rev. A. J. Bonner. The original church stood on a knoll at the center of the present cemetery before it was rebuilt about a mile away in 1975, and the grounds hold more than 270 recorded burials.
