History

Berry Cemetery stands at a sharp bend of FM 1857 about seven miles southwest of Rusk, just before Sardis Cemetery. Once holding an estimated 25 to 30 graves, most now unmarked, it includes the burials of John C. Berry (1860-1888) and a John Berry who died in 1898. It was first catalogued in 1972 and re-recorded in 2002.
