History

The Aston Building at 113 South Main Street is one of the earliest structures in Farmersville, built of locally quarried limestone in the late 1880s during the town's era of commercial prosperity. Its street facade combines the elaborate entablature of the Italianate style with the massive rough-cut stonework of the Romanesque Revival, and the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 30, 1983.
