History

The Military Heritage Collection of North Texas is a nonprofit military museum located a few miles southeast of Nevada, Texas, at 20798 County Road 590. Curator Mark Witham began building the collection more than a decade ago through government surplus purchases, worldwide contacts, and donations. Its "Hands On History" approach lets visitors interact with a living collection of operating military vehicles, small arms, uniforms spanning WWI to the present, and original military artwork.
