History

Rike Cemetery sits on the eastern bank of Pilot Grove Creek in Collin County, on land settled around 1850 by the Robert Rike family, whose surname was originally spelled Reich. The Rikes were later reinterred at the Farmersville IOOF Cemetery, leaving mostly members of the Strickland family buried here; the site is also known as the Morrow/Odil Cemetery.
