History
Koch Cemetery is a small pioneer family burial ground tucked into a cedar thicket off Koch Road southeast of Bulverde in Comal County. It holds roughly 14 graves with dates ranging from 1874 to 1932, reflecting the German families who settled this part of the Texas Hill Country in the late 19th century. The Texas Historical Commission recognizes it under its Historic Texas Cemetery program, which records cemetery boundaries in county deed records to help protect such sites.
