History

This small family cemetery near New Braunfels holds three graves dating from 1908 to 1924 and honors Wilhelm Weidner, a Saxony native born in 1835 who came to Texas in 1854 and settled his 400-acre Comal County farm in 1871. Weidner served as a public-school trustee and Comal County commissioner. The site carries the Historic Texas Cemetery designation.
