History
The English Tudor house at 6938 Wildgrove Avenue was designed by architect Arthur E. Thomas as one of the first two model homes built for the Dallas Daily Times Herald "Perfect Homes" showcase in the Pasadena addition of East Dallas around 1925-1926. Built of sandstone, limestone and marble with a cement-tile roof and thirteen lead stained-glass windows, the project was chronicled through a seven-month newspaper spread promoting the architects, craftsmen and businesses involved. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
