History

The Texas Fire Museum in Dallas is operated by members of the North Texas chapter of SPAAMFAA, an antique-fire-apparatus association, in a former Dallas Fire Department maintenance shop where volunteers restore and store vintage fire engines. It is a separate entity from the nearby Dallas Firefighters Museum, which occupies the 1907 fire station at Fair Park.
