The Charles Wittmer House stands at 110 East Newman Street in Cuero and dates to the town's late-nineteenth-century growth years, with a National Register period of significance of 1875-1899. The privately owned single-family dwelling was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 for its architectural significance to Cuero's historic residential fabric.
