The Joe Cohn House in Waxahachie was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 as part of the Historic Resources of Waxahachie nomination. It is a contributing example of the town's turn-of-the-century residential architecture from the period when cotton wealth financed a wave of substantial home-building in Waxahachie.
