History

Terry's Chapel Cemetery, also known as Salem Lutheran Cemetery, lies on the western edge of Falls County near the Bell County line, about seven miles west of Rosebud. The community was named for farmer Jim Terry, who donated land for a Baptist church; in 1906 the Salem Lutheran Church bought the property and rebuilt on the site.
