History

Arcola Community Cemetery, also recorded as Sienna Plantation Cemetery (FB-C057), is a small inactive burial ground of about 1.75 acres in Fort Bend County, with its earliest known grave dating to 1921. It served the Arcola community, which developed largely among freed people on lands that had been Jonathan Dawson Waters's large cotton and sugar plantation, acquired in 1850.
