Marker Inscription
From Fulshear on FM 1093 east turn south on Bois D'Arc Lane. Go .75 miles to pipe gate on west side of road (8135 Bois D'Arc). Follow gravel road on west side to John & Francis Smart Home. The gravel road curves back north into a cattle pasture from the Smart Home. Go through locked gate and continue to cemetery on top of hill 150'. The site is located behind Harper Avis Home in cattle pasture about 40' south of the north fenceline of the pasture. This cemetery has no fence and is surrounded by large oak trees. All of the markers have been knocked down by cattle and the site is not maintained. This site needs immediate attention or it will be lost. The Smarts (current owners) are have shown interest in preserving the site.
