History

This is the burial ground of the Saints Constantine and Helen Serbian Orthodox Church in Galveston, part of an Eastern Orthodox community that has existed in the city since 1862, when Greek, Russian and Serbian immigrants first gathered there. It remains a privately owned, active cemetery serving Galveston's Serbian Orthodox congregation.
