History
The Texas Rangers Heritage Center occupies twelve acres on the east side of Fredericksburg along US 290, next to the historic Fort Martin Scott. Developed by the Former Texas Rangers Foundation, founded in 1971, the roughly 26,000-square-foot center preserves the history of the Rangers, whose service dates to 1835 and the Texas Revolution. Its grounds include a pavilion, a campanile bell tower, an outdoor amphitheater, and the Ranger Ring of Honor memorial.
