History

The R.G. LeTourneau Memorial Museum and Archives sits on the campus of LeTourneau University in Longview, in the lobby of Heath Hardwick Hall. It honors R.G. LeTourneau (1888-1969), the prolific inventor of earthmoving equipment who co-founded the university with his wife Evelyn, displaying his patents, business artifacts, and examples of early earthmoving machines outdoors. Admission is free.
