History

Martins Prairie Cemetery is a rural burial ground in the Keith community near Iola in southern Grimes County, recorded by the Texas Historical Commission as a Historic Texas Cemetery. The Martin's Prairie Cemetery Association was organized on September 28, 1978, to maintain the grounds, which continue to serve area families.
