History

The Williams-Tarbutton House is a two-story-plus-basement Prairie-style home set in an oak grove at 626 Lindsey Street in San Marcos. Its red brick walls are capped by a low hipped roof of green-painted standing-seam metal with broad overhanging eaves, and a large first-floor porch on the Lindsey Street side is defined by four massive rectangular piers. The private residence was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
