Driving Directions:From FM 227/FM 1272 junction in Grapeland, go 7.5 miles west on FM 1272. At the very end of FM 1272, where the pavement ends and it becomes CR 2265, turn right and go 1.6 miles north on CR 2290 (there is Antrim cemetery sign posted at intersection). Cemetery is front yard of house at 1712 CR 2290, approx. 73 ft. northeast of road. Note: this gravesite is just 0.2 mile south of Mackleroy Cemetery, which is on the same property.This gravesite is highly endangered. It is not a map feature, and it is located on private property. There are no cemetery signs posted. The gravesite is maintained, and a new granite marker has placed on the grave. The inscription reads:John AdamsDied 1852The single grave is marked by a masonry cairn and a very large oak tree.
