History
The Woman's Club of Beaumont Clubhouse at 575 Magnolia Avenue was built in 1909, designed by C.C. McDonald and constructed by T.W. Thomas. The club, organized in 1895, used the building as a community cultural center with an auditorium and stage, and members supported Red Cross and civil defense work during both world wars. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
