History

The O.C. Fisher Museum occupies a wing of the Kimble County Library in Junction, itself housed in a native-stone building donated by Dr. Joseph Neight in 1973. The museum preserves the papers, office furniture, paintings, and memorabilia of Congressman O.C. Fisher, a Kimble County native who represented his West Texas district in the U.S. House from 1943 to 1974. Among its holdings are copies of all the books Fisher authored.
