Limestone County Courthouse

Constructed of dark red brick and limestone in the Classical Revival style. The building features a substantial limestone entablature and deep cornice, a wide central bay with an entry portico defined by corbeled arched openings, double-height fluted Ionic columns defining windows bays ornamental bas relief spandrels and supporting a balustrade and urns above the central portion of the dentiled cornice. The side bay parapet features large limestone cartouches. The secondary entry porticos are supported by double height fluted Ionic columns and pilasters and flanked by large ornamental cartouches at the parapet.
