History
This monumental three-story Italianate mansion in Mason began in 1887 as a home for Methodist minister Thomas A. Broad and was greatly enlarged after banker Edward M. Reynolds bought it in 1891, using Dresden-trained architect Richard Gross. Swedish immigrant Oscar Seaquist purchased the 22-room house in 1919, and it remained with his family until 1972; a local foundation acquired and began restoring it in 2015. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
