History

Beasley Cemetery is a small family and community burial ground about one mile east of Milburn, near the McCulloch-San Saba county line. It is associated with the Beasley family, who came to the area in 1861 and homesteaded along the Colorado River northeast of present-day Mercury; family patriarch John Beasley died in 1883.
