History
Pioneer Village is a living-history museum in Corsicana's Jester Park, conceived in 1958 by the Navarro County Historical Society (organized 1956) as a depository for the county's surviving historic structures. Built at the "Watering Hole" where early settlers circled their wagons, it gathers roughly 15 walk-through log and frame buildings, some over 140 years old, interpreting local life from 1836 into the 1920s. The grounds also include the Lefty Frizzell statue and the Les Cotten Memorial Peace Officers Museum.
