History

The National Vietnam War Museum was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1999 and purchased a 12-acre site on the Mineral Wells Highway in western Parker County, about 50 miles west of Fort Worth. It is dedicated to telling the unbiased story of the roughly 2.7 million Americans who served in Vietnam, along with the Vietnamese people and those on the home front. Exhibits include military equipment, photographs, and personal accounts.
