History
The Amarillo Globe Dream House is a red-brick Tudor Revival home built in 1925 as a joint promotion by the Amarillo Globe-News newspaper and a local real estate company. Designed by noted Panhandle architect Guy Carlander and built by contractor M. C. Hancock, it was showcased to highlight local building talent. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 and became a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 2008.
