History

Buchanan Ranch Cemetery is a family burial ground in the Frio Canyon country of Real County. It was begun at the death of Vada May (Brooks) Buchanan, who, with her husband John William Buchanan, was born in the canyon and spent most of their lives on the ranch. Enclosed by a cyclone fence, the small cemetery was laid out with room for additional family burials.
