Doer website, Rootsweb: “McClelland Family Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas - From the Courthouse in Hemphill, go West on FM 83 (Worth Street) 11.5 miles to the intersection of FM 83 and US 96 in Pineland, Texas. Cross US 96 and continue West on FM 83 for 2.5 miles to the intersection of FM 2866; turn right (North) onto FM 2866 and go 3.0 miles to the top of a small hill in the road. The cemetery is located on the right (East) about 150 feet from the East Right-of-Way for FM 2866 in a heavily wooded area of privately owned land. Only one (1) grave has a marker and is located inside a small wrought iron fence, but there are signs of a old perimeter fence around a much larger area and several large cedar trees within this area tends to indicate that some unmarked graves are within the area. N of SH 83 on FM 2866, see above directions. Site off dim wood road, as indicated above, approx 100 ft. from paved roadway. One formal fenced grave in good condition, marker and footstone. At least five large Cedar trees surround area, may indicate marker trees of boundaries of cemetery. Line of Crape Myrtles nearby noted by McDaniels suggests proximity of McClelland homeplace.
