History
The Hubbard Creek Bridge, a riveted Pratt through truss, was built in 1928-1929 by contractors Crouch and Noland for the Shackelford County Commissioners Court to a small-scale Texas Highway Department design. Carrying FM 601 between Ibex and the county seat of Albany, it retains strong integrity of design, materials, and setting, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
