History
The Jenkins-Harvey Super Service Station and Garage at 124 S. College Avenue was built in 1929 for prominent Tyler businessman Judge Samuel A. Lindsey and designed in the Art Deco style by local architect James P. Baugh. The two-story building with a partial basement is the only known Art Deco auto service and parking garage in Tyler and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
