History
The Miller Manufacturing Company Building on Fort Worth's Near South Side was built around 1911 as a two-story steel-reinforced concrete factory for a maker of overalls and work clothes founded in 1903. The plant was the scene of a violent 1922 labor strike, after which the company relocated to Paris, Texas rather than meet union demands. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006, the building was converted into the Miller Lofts in 2009.
