History

Operated by the Old Town Keller Foundation, the Keller History Museum occupies a nearly century-old house at 133 Bates Street in Old Town Keller. The home was originally built at 124 Main Street by one of the town's first bankers; the foundation saved it from demolition in 2013 and relocated it to city park property on Bates Street. Exhibits focus on Keller's early families and the Cross Timbers region, with the largest room devoted to the railroad, since the town owes its existence to tracks laid through the area in the early 1880s.
