History

Ann Waggoner Hall was the original College Hall and oldest building on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University—then Texas Woman's College—in the Polytechnic Heights area of Fort Worth. Its auditorium wing was built in 1909 for Polytechnic Methodist Church, and after Fort Worth arts patron Ann Waggoner gave $35,000 toward a north wing, the building was named in her honor. A historical marker was designated in 1967; the building was later lost to fire.
