History

Operating in downtown Austin as the Texas Toy Museum and Arcade at 310 Congress Avenue, the museum was established in 2015 and displays a collection of more than 20,000 vintage toys and games alongside classic 1980s arcade machines. Its toys range back to the early 1900s, presented in large dioramas that include a 24-foot G.I. Joe display and a Star Wars battle scene.
