History

George Herbert Kinsolving (1849-1928) served as the second Episcopal bishop of the Diocese of Texas from 1893 until his death. He was originally buried in Oakwood Cemetery, but in 1939 a crypt was constructed beneath the altar of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Austin and his remains were moved there in accordance with his wishes. The crypt is a designated Historic Texas Cemetery.
