History
The Jules Leffland House at 302 E. Convent in Victoria was built in 1900 as the home of Danish-born architect Jules Leffland, who designed dozens of churches, banks, and residences across South Texas after emigrating in 1886. His own Classical Revival house is regarded as an outstanding example of his most successful genre, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
