From the intersection of US 290 and SH 6 in Hempstead, travel west on US 290 about 2 miles to the intersection with FM 1736. Turn right (north) onto FM 1736 and travel about 2.24 miles north to a point north of the interesection of FM 1736 and Cary Lane where the cemetery is visible along the west side of FM 1736 as an overgrown tract in the middle of a pasture. Note that there is currently (2023) no public access to this cemetery. The "old road" mentioned in deed records pertaining to the cemetery that once provided access, presumably west from FM 1736, is no longer accessible. Access may be requested from the landowner and once permission is secured, a high clearance vehicle, e.g., pickup truck, may access the property via the Rio Ranch entrance approximately 0.6 mile north of the cemetery along the west side of FM 1736. Once through the gate, travel along the paved road west southwest for 0.3 miles
