History
This Classical Revival building at 105 S. Market Street in Brenham was designed in 1915 by James A. Wetmore, Supervising Architect of the U.S. Treasury, and built in 1914-1916 to house the U.S. Post Office and federal offices. It served as the post office until the mid-1960s. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, it was offered by the City of Brenham for museum use in 1991 and now houses the Brenham Heritage Museum.
