History

The Eternal Gandhi Museum Houston, which opened on August 15, 2023 (India's Independence Day), is the only free-standing museum in the Americas dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Its galleries trace Gandhi's life and the global peace leaders who followed his example, promoting the values of truth, nonviolence, peace, love, and service. The museum is located at 12379 Riceville School Road in southwest Houston.
