History
This Taylor residence is a Mid-century Modern design completed in 1953 by the Austin firm of Leonard Lundgren and Ed Maurer, both University of Texas architecture graduates. It shows the era's hallmarks: a nearly flat roof, high-set front windows for privacy, broad rear glazing and a rooftop patio above the carport. The house was added to the National Register in 2009.
