History

Luther Bynum Clegg, founder of the San Antonio Printing Company, commissioned noted architect Harvey L. Page to design this Mission Revival residence in 1901-02, a house Page later called one of his most interesting. Located near West Park Avenue and Howard Street, it was recorded as a Texas Historic Landmark in 1978 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
