History

The Buggy Barn Museum in Blanco is an award-winning museum holding more than 250 restored antique buggies, carriages, and wagons dating from the 1800s to the early 1900s, drawn from a dozen countries in what is billed as the largest collection in Texas. Many of its vehicles have appeared in films and series such as True Grit, Killers of the Flower Moon, 1883, and 1923. Adjacent to the museum is the Pine Moore Old West Studio, a film-ready Western town with a saloon, church, jail, and other period buildings available for productions, weddings, and events.
