The Palapa Table for James Richard Marmion in Sweeny is a faux bois concrete work by sculptor Dionicio Rodriguez, standing near his companion gazebo on the same property. Rodriguez was renowned for molding and staining concrete to mimic timber, thatch, and stone in garden settings. The table was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 for its artistic significance.
