History

Cedar Point Cemetery is tied to the Cedar Point community west of Brownwood, which took its name from a large cedar tree on the old Drinkard place and built its first one-room log schoolhouse in 1877. The cemetery holds more than 600 recorded graves and remains a focal point for the surrounding area's descendants.
